Gyandeep Sewadham, a Sanskar Kendra and school run by the Mata Chandrakanta Smriti Sewa Nyas, under Sant Eshwer Foundation is a beacon of hope for children of Haryana, providing not only education but also fostering self-reliance and self confidence among them. Since its establishment on May 29, 2002, in Panipat, this school has been dedicated in apart realizing the life ideals of Mata Chandrakanta ji and making a significant contribution in the field of education.
Guided by the principles of revered Mata Chandrakanta ji or Acchi Maa as she is fondly called Gyandeep Sewa Dham serves as a vital project for the dissemination of knowledge. Thousands of students have already received education under this noble endeavor, with 250 students benefiting every year from the school’s offerings. Spanning an area of 1100 square meters within the Mata Chandrakanta campus, the school imparts education up to the fifth standard.
Gyandeep Sewa Dham provides free education to children from nursery to the fifth standard, ensuring that no financial barriers hinder their learning. The Trust covers all expenses, including books, notebooks, stationery, and uniforms. Additionally, transportation is arranged for children residing far away, facilitating their access to education.
Embracing the spirit of “Digital India,” the school offers smart classroom to enhance the learning experience of the children. Moreover, the health of the students is prioritized through frequent medical camps that provide free eye check-ups, dental check-ups, and even COVID-19 vaccinations.
In line with the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” initiative, Gyandeep Sewa Dham offers vocational training to the girls, including tailoring, mehendi (henna application), and beauty parlor skills. Empowering these self-reliant daughters contributes to the strength and progress of India.
During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the children of Gyandeep Sewa Dham selflessly produced and distributed approximately one lakh masks to support their community. The children also actively participate in promoting “Make in India” by crafting thousands of rakhis for the military personnel, and during Diwali, they create diyas (clay lamps) and partake in the festive Diwali Mela.
To enrich the overall development of the children, the Trust organizes an annual summer camp in June. Children from Gyandeep Sewa Dham, along with sisters from nearby Bastis, participate in activities such as yoga, cooking, art and craft, and mehndi application. The Trust also celebrates various festivals, including Janmashtami, Republic Day, Independence Day, Lohri, Rakshabandhan, and Diwali, with great enthusiasm, fostering a sense of joy and cultural pride.
Notably, on March 5, 2023, the Campus hosted the grand launch of the G20 engagement group C20’s working group- SEWA – Sewa Sense of Service and Philantrophy in the premises of Gyandeep Sewa Dham. The dedication of the organization to empower the nomadic society is visible by its mission by to establish projects in ten new locations across Haryana, aiming to provide education, sacraments, and self-reliance to these communities in the future. This event brought Gyandeep Sewadham on the World Map.
Gyandeep Sewa Dham, under the guidance of Mata Chandrakanta Smriti Sewa Nyas, continues to be a driving force in transforming the lives of children, promoting education, self-sufficiency, and holistic development, while also upholding the values and ideals of Mata Chandrakanta ji.
