Sumit Kumar, a dedicated advocate for the education and welfare of disadvantaged children, leads a remarkable initiative in Sant Eshwer Sewa Samman Turhadi, Bihar. He is the driving force behind “Appan Pathshala,” situated in Muktidham, Sikandarpur, Muzaffarpur, which has transformed the lives of countless youngsters. Appan Pathshala is an inclusive haven, welcoming children from diverse backgrounds, including the offspring of homemakers, garbage collectors, and vegetable vendors. Beyond the 9th grade, “Ambedkar Shiksha Sadan” has been established, mirroring the principles of Appan Pathshala, offering education beyond the 10th grade and preparing students for competitive examinations like BPSC, SSC, and GD. Remarkably, the elder students actively participate by teaching the younger ones, fostering a sense of unity and mutual support.
