Protection of animals is also a type of service. The cycle of our life can’t be strengthened until wildlife and the environment are not conserved. Today due to the environmental crisis, the human race is standing at the threshold of catastrophe. The only way to elude this calamity is through the protection of organisms and the environment, along with safeguarding their dignity. This is the decree of nature that when its dignity is disturbed, the door of destruction is pushed open. We are not unaware of what is happening today.

Shri Himmat Ram Ji recognized this crisis and made its prosperity the indispensable goal of his life. For this, he spearheaded multiple drives to conserve plantation forests and promote consciousness regarding the environment. He thrived immensely in his personal capacity as well. He facilitated numerous conferences and seminars for greater public awareness.

Shri Himmat Ram Ji’s grandmother exhilarated and inspired him to pursue the noble cause. The saplings his grandmother planted in 1975 qualified as a source of energy for him. Today that momentum has planted lakhs of plants. Among these 3.50 lakh plants have grown into lush green trees.

In contemporary times, Himmat Ram Ji has become a consciousness, under whose influence, many individuals and institutions are carrying forward the resolve of protecting the environment and wildlife alike. Now, this person no longer remains a singular personality, he has been made into an institution. He converted his entire 36 bighas of land into the forest for the conservation of wildlife. He has been awarded with multiple awards and honors for his commendable work.

Recipient of the Padma Shri award for his active contribution as an environmentalist and wildlife conservationist. 

For his overall contribution to the development of rural areas, the Sant Eshwer Foundation is awarding him with the Sant Eshwer Seva Samman of the year 2019.

The environment is directly related to our lives. By protecting the environment, Shri Himmat Ram Ji worked to essentially save life. This service of his has been priceless.
