Education is the liberation of the soul. As a person learns, he becomes free from many types of narrow emotions and serves the nation in the true sense. The person who teaches or arranges its facilitation has a greater-than-God status in Indian culture.
Contemporary times are an era of global competition. If we have to accept the challenge of this time, then be ready for it. We can face this challenge only by getting a quality and timely education. In this villager of Mizoram, there are many students in the tribal areas who can get an education due to a little prosperity, but there are those who can’t receive an appropriate education. Along with this, there are many types of external religious and political pressures that are working in this region, influenced by which education can’t be taken towards a healthy tradition. the same problems. Seeing this, Smt. P. Lalhmingliani Ji resolved to educate the children through her tireless efforts.
She observed that within the students, along with educational improvement there is also a need for a variety of reforms. Economic strength and for children to join the mainstream of development, jobs and businesses are also needed. So, along with traditional education, they also decided to provide vocational education. When they began working for student education, various kinds of problems surfaced. However, she believes that no work can be done without any struggle. Hence, she articulates that “achieving their goals by sailing through the struggles, and to empower children for the future toils makes me happy.”
That’s the key to this kind of success. When you start feeling content and satisfied in doing something, then you begin to be blessed by God. Work is not only possible but is completed with saatvik Dharam. Since 2003, she has worked tirelessly to fulfil the resolution, due to which about 100 children have acquired suitable education. While many students also got reputable jobs. There are also such students who due to a lack of linguistic skills have to stay behind. They identify such children and make them linguistically efficient. She got absolute success in this work. Along with this, children are provided with such facilities that they can pursue their studies without any obstruction. Moreover, children are also sent to the cities to get further education.
Apart from this work, they also have other social concerns. Along with social reforms, she also supported the indigenous project. Today, the world can run a blind race for development. However, without indigenous use, they might get momentary success but no meaning can be acquired. She has also conducted many programs and awakening campaigns to protect her culture. From 2005 to 2018, she served as a member of the women’s cell of the Swadeshi Jagran.
She established ‘Salem Beg Cultural Club’ for the cultural establishment in Mizoram province between 1993 and 1995. Since 2017, this is also the ‘lal hatra’ list of the education board.
Along with this, to join the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and to make women strong, she also trains them in stitching. All these works are done with the sentiment of sheer service. Only on the strength of the current environment, the future is strengthened. She protected children’s education, her cultural heritage, encouraged the use of Swadeshi and the economic success of women. This training not only strengthens the present but also brought inventiveness to the future.
Seeing her resolve, struggle and positive outlook towards life, ‘Sant Eshwer Foundation’ has conferred Smt. P. Lalhmingliani Ji with the ‘Sant Eshwer Sewa Samman’ for the year 2019. The youth is our future. If these are of a surpassing quality, then our nation will be strong. Our best wishes are that this work should be constantly dedicated to the name of the nation.
