Rural Education and Development Society’s contribution to Bharat’s economy is commendable. The Society has pledged to empower tribal farmers and make them self-reliant. It continues to work with utmost honesty with 16,500 tribal farmers and assisting in their vertical mobility.
The organization has made significant progress in spreading awareness about new schemes and their implementation. Through the ‘Bari Vikas Programme’, farmers are now earning incomes ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 5,00,000. The organization’s Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) has also increased farmers’ incomes by 10-15 percent. Their work in environmental protection, soil and water conservation, and combating the effects of climate change is truly important. They are driving social and economic changes in tribal society.
